Online Services

The NHS App and Patient Access allows access to various online services.

The NHS APP

Use the NHS app to order repeat prescriptions, book appointments, view your health record, get health advice, get your NHS Covid Pass, and register to be an organ donor.

The app can be downloaded free from the App Store or Google Play. You can also access it from the browser on your computer.

For further information go to nhs.uk/apps-library/nhs-app/

Using Patient Access you can book appointments, order repeat prescriptions and change your contact information online. You can also access your medical record.

Read the instructions below first, then click here to access the system once you have obtained a PIN number to use it.

If you are using the new website for the first time please follow the ‘sign in for the first time as an existing user’ instructions. Please note that you must have a different email address for each online user. If you enter your password in wrongly three times the system will lock you out for an hour. Please use the Support Centre for any queries or problems that you have.

Registering for the online system

The registration is simple – but for security we will need you to come into the Surgery with some proof of ID before we give you a PIN and access ID.  Acceptable ID is a photo driving licence or a passport.

Parents will be able to have a PIN for their children. Similarly, carers of people with disabilities will be able to take a PIN for them.

Patient Access Mobile App

The Patient Access App is free to download and use on your mobile device from The Apple Store and Google Play

Patient Access not only saves both time and money for the Practice, but also allows reception staff to focus on other key areas and provide a better service to patients. The service has benefits for patients without internet access too – Patient Access means that less people will be ringing the Surgery, so it makes the Practice more accessible over the phone.
