Flu and COVID-19 Vaccination Information

THE SURGERY WILL BE USING A TEXT MESSAGING SERVICE FROM ACCURX TO BOOK COVID VACCINATIONS IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS ALONGSIDE YOUR FLU VACCINATION. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO CLICK ON A LINK AND PROVIDE YOUR DATE OF BIRTH. ALTERNATIVELY YOU CAN CALL US ON 01903 230656 TO BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT. 

Please note that this year our clinic appointments will be slightly later in October, this is due to a manufacturing issue with a supplier, please be rest assured that we have an alternative supplier where no issue have been reported, only a delay in delivery due to demand. This has affected many practice across West Sussex and the rest of the country.

Eligibility criteria for Flu and Covid-19 vaccinations are as follows:

Eligible for a Flu Vaccination

  • Adults aged 65 years and over
  • Pregnant women
  • Children aged 2 and 3 years (on 31 August)
  • School-aged children (via the school vaccination programme)
  • Individuals aged 6 months to 64 years in clinical risk groups
  • Residents of care homes for older adults
  • Carers and those in receipt of a carer’s allowance, or who are the main carer for an older or disabled person
  • Frontline health and social care workers

Eligible for a COVID-19 Vaccination

  • Adults aged 75 years and over
  • Residents in care homes for older adults
  • Individuals aged 6 months and over who have a weakened immune system (immunosuppressed)
