THE SURGERY WILL BE USING A TEXT MESSAGING SERVICE FROM ACCURX TO BOOK COVID VACCINATIONS IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS ALONGSIDE YOUR FLU VACCINATION. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO CLICK ON A LINK AND PROVIDE YOUR DATE OF BIRTH.

Eligibility criteria are as follows:

Eligible for a Flu Vaccination

  • Adults aged 65 years and over
  • Pregnant women
  • Children aged 2 and 3 years (on 31 August)
  • School-aged children (via the school vaccination programme)
  • Individuals aged 6 months to 64 years in clinical risk groups
  • Residents of care homes for older adults
  • Carers and those in receipt of a carer’s allowance, or who are the main carer for an older or disabled person
  • Frontline health and social care workers

Eligible for a COVID-19 Vaccination

  • Adults aged 75 years and over
  • Residents in care homes for older adults
  • Individuals aged 6 months and over who have a weakened immune system (immunosuppressed)
